Some sellers of these political preferences have a level of ethics equal to that of a snake oil salesmen. . l The Con: Who's behind it? -- A small, but very powerful group of Christian-talking but atheist-acting, self-centered multi-millionaires who, behind the scenes,° own the structures that control the Republican Party. What are they doing? -- They are using and manipulating the fundamentalist Christians for the purpose of changing the laws to bring more money and political power to themselves. They are getting their candidates elected to public office by conning the conservative Christians with distorted and often false information. They are also "buying the cooperation" of fundamentalist Christian, church leaders by funneling millions of your tax dollars into their churches. l The Technique: As you well know, the true believers in conservative Christianity are notorious for being mindless° and not thinking for themselves. They simply follow orders that they think are coming form God by way of their church leaders. A significant number of these people are being directed into the voting booths. l The True Intention: On the surface, it looks like the conservative Christians are being sent into the voting booths by their church leaders to vote for "What God's wants" on controversial issues such as abortion and gay rights. But when you look under this deception and false front, you'll see that they are actually being directed there to vote for the candidates picked by, paid for, and owned by the above-mentioned multi-millionaires.** ** Reference: Voting for God or for the devil° l The Best Scams: The public is being given very one-sided and distorted information on several controversial issues such as: Abortion Evolution Moral Values Gay Rights The relationship between church and state These issues are all intimately related because 1) fundamental Christian theology is the basis for passing secular laws in each of these areas,** and 2) these controversies are being used to alter the outcomes of elections. ** For example, abortion is dependent upon two unprovable Christian beliefs: 1) that God's conception magic act° is true and 2) that a human being is his or her physical body.° l The Antidote: This is where the TLC websites come in. Our websites offer vital, previously ignored information about the above topics and on several other controversial issues. The information we provide could tip the scales from losing to winning for the those of us who support political freedom, religious freedom, sexual freedom, and economic stability. l What's Happening: The perspectives we provide are mostly being ignored by the mainstream media for two reasons. . l Example One -- Abortion: Abortion is actually a religious freedom issue. You're probably raising your eyebrows and saying to yourself, "He's crazy." Well, before you blindly accept "The-Earth-is-flat" perspective on this topic, we invite you to Examine the Evidence.° We'll also show you how, by exposing this previously ignored perspective, we can completely alter the outcome of this controversy. Why is this important? Because reproductive rights are dying! Because we know how to keep abortion legal! Because you have only three choices. ° l Example Two -- Evolution: In the controversy between Scientific Evolution and Christian Creationism, most of the main stream media is completely ignoring the third and most likely possibility -- that the universe has an intelligent creator -- a creator that transcends human knowledge and understanding. Again, we invite you to Examine the Evidence ° and see how, by strongly and repeatedly bringing this perspective into public discussions, we can end this controversy. l Example Three -- Moral Values: What is being peddled as moral values is neither moral nor socially valuable. It's actually a distorted and bastardized version of Christian theology. But don't believe us, Examine the Evidence. ° l Example Four -- Gay Rights: Like the moral values issue, what is being peddled to the public as moral and right is also a distorted and bastardized version of Christian theology. It's their sexual version of their now largely debunked and historically documented practice of racial bigotry.° Here too, The Evidence ° speaks for itself. l Example Five -- Church / State Relationship: It's not possible to have freedom of religion without also having freedom from religion. Throughout history, every society that has been dominated by a single religious perspective has been tyrannical and abusive of its citizens. But don't believe us, read the history of Christianity or just look at the present Middle Eastern governments. And be careful. The conservative Christian, morality police are once again arming themselves, and they're waiting in the wings right here in America. Examine the Evidence. ° l Example Six -- Sex Education: What do we do in the face of the dismal failure of the "Abstinence-only-until-married" sex education programs? What do we teach to those who are unmarried and sexually active? What do we teach them about how to avoid unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS, and the like? Because sexually related problems are rampant, ° a new approach to solving these problems is required. In the area of young adult sex education, The Yoni Dance books propose a radical and at the same time, a fully functional approach to young adult, sex education. Examine the Evidence. ° l Example Seven -- Drug Prohibition: Drug prohibition is a multi-billion dollar cash cow. The present anti-drugs laws are hopelessly dysfunctional, but the established system is so completely entrenched and the money interests are so powerful that change is presently all but impossible. . l Choices or Chains: Regarding each of the problem areas mentioned above, the general public is being manipulated into holding a particular set of beliefs. They are being manipulated by those who have a vested interest in a how people vote on election day. The technique is to use false information -- to use misleading, intentionally deceptive, or incomplete information. The intention is to influence, dominate, and manipulate people's beliefs, their attitudes, and what they think about. The goal is to control who the public votes for on election day. The prison analogy below will make this clearer. l Belief Prisons: Imagine for a moment, that there was a particular destination that you wanted to reach and there were five pathways that could get you there. What if someone you trusted lied to you and told that four of the five pathways were either physically very dangerous or they were controlled by evil criminals. If you believed them, your belief could and probably would significantly affect your behavior? You would almost certainly be limited to only one of the five choices. The false information created an invisible prison in that it restricted your choices. The belief prison in this analogy was neither steel nor stone and yet it restricted and limited your freedom. And it got you to choose what someone else wanted you to choose. l
Our Job:
The invisible
prison analogy holds true regarding the seven, controversial topics mentioned
above. Your choices are limited by the false,
inaccurate and/or misinformation you do have and by the accurate
information you don't have. Our job is to expand the number of
choices you have" We are not telling you which choice to choose. That's your job. Well actually, it's your third job. Your first job is to select an area that is of interest to you and find as much additional and previously missing information on that topic as you can. Your second job is to examine all of the available information to see if the so-called facts are based upon evidence or are they just unsupported beliefs about reality. After you become reasonably well informed about what the evidence indicates in this area you feel passionate about, your third job is to decide what to do and what not to do. One other thing to keep in mind -- nobody has exclusive access to the truth. Please examine our web site pages and examine other sources of information as well. Denial Is No Longer an Option: l Dysfunctional Answers: In each of the controversial issues listed above, the public is being spoon-fed fairytale answers to the problems by those who run our social structures. They are fairytale answers because they simply don't take us where we say we want to go. l No Victims: And we (the public at large) are participating in this scam by being mindless. Many of us are lapping up these false stories as if they were nothing short of honey-milk. Either we are lying to ourselves about what our goals actually are, or we are lying to ourselves about how to best reach these goals. l Denial is no longer an option: In order to solve these problems, we must wake up and think and act "outside-the-box" ° of conventional behavior. We cannot solve our present, collective, social problems with either "More of the Same" or "The Same Thing Harder." New, mutually cooperative approaches to our collective social problems are required and the sooner we wake up to this, the less painful the transition will be. .. |
