The Two Requirements

l    First Requirement:   The first, the foremost, and the most critical thing you must do prior to making sense of this proposal is to understand how and why abortion is a religious freedom issue.

l    Second Requirement:   The second critical factor is learning how to talk about abortion using  the correct language.   

In political circles,  never talk directly about abortion.   Never even say the word.  Instead, talk constitutional law and speak to the principles underlying abortion such as the relationship between church and state and the First Amendment of the Constitution.    To learn how to do this, please see the page titled:  How to Speak "Constitution"  to an Anti-abortionist.°    

When talking in front of the public,   speak religion, and again, DO NOT talk about abortion.   If you do refer to this topic, use the term, "Forced Motherhood."     

How to Talk to the Public About Abortion:   The first and foremost rule in getting someone to understand your message is to speak in a language that the listener understands.    

Because the vast majority of those who  favor forced motherhood  are  conservative Christians, we must speak to these people in Bible-related language.   They simply don't understand and/or refuse to listen to any other language.   We must connect our message to their eternal salvation.   If you don't yet know how to do this,  see the page titled:  How to Speak "Religion" to An Anti-abortionist.°   

Power Versus the Truth:   When you examine the forced motherhood controversy in its religious and historical context, you'll see that it's just one more battle in the age-old war between power and the truth.

The Power:   On one hand, there's the behind the scenes power of the Roman Catholic Church and the more public positions held by the leaders from the ultra-conservative end of protestant Christianity.   The conservative Christian leaders have millions of mindless sheep at their disposal -- sheep with money to donate and time to do tasks -- sheep who simply follow their leader's orders -- orders  that they believe are coming from God by way of the church leaders. ^**1°

The Illusion:   The church leaders are defending an antiquated illusion about life with the same intensity that their predecessors defended their declaration that the Earth was flat.   They demand the passage of  government laws based upon an unprovable, religious fairytale about God's instantaneous, supernatural, transcendental, conception magic act. ^**2°   

Their proposed laws are also based upon the unprovable belief that a human being is his/her physical body. ^**3°   Unless the forced motherhood peddlers  are derailed very soon, they will succeed at using these two unprovable, religious stories to outlaw abortion.  They can succeed for two  reasons.  First,  because they have the money, the positions, the followers, and the political power to force their ways onto the rest of us.   And second, almost nobody is publicly speaking the truth about these two religious fairytales.

The Truth:   And then, there's the evidence --  evidence that contradicts the above two religious beliefs --  evidence such as the findings of sub-atomic physics which tells us that "Physical matter is not physical at all.   It's made up entirely of energy." **3a   There's also the fact that they ignore numerous Biblical passages such as Genesis 2:7 and  Ecclesiastes 11:5 ^**4°   which contradict both their conception-magic-act declaration ^**2°  and their  claim that a human being is his/her physical body. ^**3°      Then there's the hypocrisy° and the lies of omission°  exposed by the Official Roman Catholic Encyclopedia which flat our says we don't know the nature of what life is, or where it originates, or how it functions. ^**5°  

Truth Versus Money and Power:   But then, don't expect a little thing like the truth to stand between the church leaders and money, power, position, prestige, privilege, money, money, money and last but nor least, money.

The Real Questions:   When you examine the public media presentations about the forced motherhood (anti-abortion) controversy, you'll find strong, compelling, voices for the Christian side and either no voice at all or rather empty-of-content voices for pro-choice side.   But what you won't find anywhere but here  (on our websites) are the answers to the following questions:  "What's the real reason why Christian anti-abortion beliefs are being peddled in government halls?" ^**6°    Why is it important to end this controversy? ^**7 ° and   "How do we end it? ^**8°   Our websites clearly answers all three of these questions.

The Motivation:   This controversy is not just about abortion.  When you look under the smoke screen, you'll find that  it's actually a tool of conservative Christian leaders for gaining media attention and financial supporters  ^**6°  and it's a tool for those in political power to get mindless, Christian sheep into the voting booths to vote for Republican candidates. ^**9°    Both the conservative church leaders ^**10°  and the people who own the corporations that control the Republican party  ^**6°   want this controversy to continue.  Why?   Because it increases their power and wealth.

The Solution

The Truth Is to the Anti-abortion Leaders 
as Kryptonite is to Superman.

Because  the conservative Christian church leaders insist on translating their religious beliefs into secular law, it's prudent and appropriate that they be forced into publicly discussing  the evidence supporting their claims.   We can derail their media blitz by demanding that they show us the evidence supporting the claim that God's conception magic act is real; ^**2°     by demanding that they show us the evidence supporting their claim that a human being is his/her physical body; ^**3°   and  by  including in the public discussions the evidence that refutes their religious-based claims.   

The goal is to  answer this question:   Do the above two beliefs represent reality or are they simply Christian, religious beliefs about reality.   If they are only religious beliefs, then they have no business being passed into secular law.

The church leaders will be repulsed at this idea because subjecting their articles of faith to open questioning is just not allowed by the leaders of Christianity.   They will be particularly repulsed at the thought of  giving publicity to the Eastern philosophy's concept of intelligent creationism. ^**12°    They do not want their followers to be exposed to any information that contradicts the party line.    

The Followers have already been told the Christian version of what God is and how "He" functions.  They do not want their followers to hear a different story, and above all, they don't want their sheep to start thinking for themselves.  Why? Because the two,  above-mentioned religious beliefs ("conception magic" ^**2°  & "I am my body" ^**3°)   cannot stand the light of open questioning.    If we push the public debates in this direction, they will have only two options:  1)  end their demands,  or 2)  subject their abortion-related religious beliefs to public debate and intellectual scrutiny.   The next section explains why they this is an either or choice that they desperately want to avoid.

The No-choice Achilles' Heel

The Forced Motherhood Peddlers
Are Between a Rock and a Hard Place

First, the anti-abortion war is a multi-billion dollar cash cow ^**6°   that they don't want to lose, and second, opening Christian anti-abortion theology to public scrutiny could shake the Christian religious hierarchies to there very foundations.   

Regarding their theology, the leaders of the Roman Catholic church and the hard-line fundamentalist Christians are in a very difficult predicament.    They have declared a whole series of ancient, un-defendable  and unprovable stories to be literal truths.   Not only is the scientific evidence pointing away from supporting their beliefs, the physical evidence is showing a stronger and stronger harmony with the Eastern religious philosophies. ^**12°  

It's All or Nothing:   If Christian church leaders acknowledged that even one of their beliefs was wrong,  that would be acknowledging that Christian theology was not complete and totally correct.   This would bring their other beliefs into question, and church leaders know that questions are the arch enemy of their belief system.   Fairytales, such as God's conception magic act, would be exposed for what they are.    The truth could cause their entire house of cards to come tumbling down.   This would not harm Christianity.   The Christ Consciousness is secure and safe, but what would be seriously threatened are the archaic social structures that presently dominate Christianity.   

Their Stories  from  Christian Theology:   Here are a few of their more prominent and controversial stories:

l   They have declared Christian theology to be the one and only true message from God.  They have declared that all other religions are false religions.   They have declared themselves to have exclusive access to God.   The Roman Catholic hierarchy has even declared it's leader to be infallible.   They have declared that every word in the Christian Bible must be taken as literal truth from God. 

l   They ignore significant, personal empowerment concepts put forth in their Bible.   Example One:   John 14:12°    (This passage is a message from Jesus and  is commonly paraphrased as:   "Anything I can do, you can do and more."   

Example Two:  Psalms 82:6    "I have said, Ye [are] gods...")

Example Three:   John 1:1.°      "In the Beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.."   (This passage is the Universal Law of Thought expressed in Biblical terms.    

Instead of empowering people, they peddle a self-image destroyer to all, including defenseless little children.   It's called original sin.   Where is the Biblical support for this story?

l   They also ignore social concepts clearly stated in the Christian Bible that were acceptable 2,000 years ago, but are not acceptable today.   For example, when you read Exodus Chapter 21,°  you'll notice that, among other things,  it orders you to stone to death a child who curses his parents and gives you permission to sell you daughters into sexual slavery.   

Their Stories Related to Forced Motherhood (abortion):   

l   They deny that abortion is a religious issue.°   With no evidence whatsoever to support it, they have simply declared that God's instantaneous, supernatural, transcendental conception magic act° is true.   

l   In direct contradiction to the scientific evidence, they still declare that humans are their physical bodies.   

l   They ignore numerous, significant biblical passages°  such as  Genesis 2:7,   and Ecclesiastes 11:5.  

Even though the forced motherhood aspects of conservative, Christian theology are un-defendable and even though they have no significant evidence to support them,  the Christian leaders spend vast amounts of time, energy, labor and money defending them.   And in the process, they do great harm to all of the Earth's inhabitants, human and otherwise.  Ref: #1°      Ref: #2°

Ending the War

The Predictable Response:   Let's examine our  "How to End the Anti-abortion War" proposal from the psychological perspective that:  "Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior."   When challenged in a public forum, where they can't simply ignore the truth, the Christian church leaders will most likely continue do as they have done for centuries.   They'll respond in  a manner similar to the way they responded when faced with the truth of Martin Luther ^**13°   in the 1500's.    They'll back away from the truth.   They'll stop their public clamoring and let the furor die down.   And soon, they'll be back promoting business as usual.    They'll just use a different avenue to continue collecting money and to maintain their positions of power, prestige, and privilege. ^**1°

The Bottom Line:   Let me say this again:   The Truth Is to the Anti-abortion Leaders as Kryptonite is to Superman.   The truth will keep abortion legal.   

But you can't simply sit back and expect someone else to speak that truth for you. . . 

The Invitation

Thinking Outside the Box:   The above proposal may sound to you like a "far out" " pie-in-the-sky" idea, but so did the ideas men like Copernicus, Galileo, the Wright brothers, Louis Pasteur, and thousand like them. ^**14°   You also must consider that, at this time, those of you who support women's reproductive rights have only three options:  

2     Do what nobody other than our pro-choice  team has done -- come up with a new strategy that will save abortion rights --   a strategy that actually works  and  implement it  immediately.
